Doug

Doug brings over 25 years experience in the IT Industry to Qbit, most recently creating forward planning road maps, assisting with budgets, scoping projects and leading the IT project implementation teams for mid-tier mining companies with over 500 staff across both WA and Queensland. He has led the design and implementation complex technical solutions with a specific focus on Infrastructure implementation and support within the Microsoft stack covering on-premise, hybrid and cloud. Doug has worked in IT teams across a range of industries including, but not limited to, Mining (both Domestic and International), State Government departments and Local Government councils.

 Away from work, Doug enjoys coaching his daughters’ Teeball, Softball and Baseball teams, as well as trying to avoid injury whilst playing Mens Softball himself.

He is also involved in Scouting as a Scout Leader and is a bit of an old-school petrol-head, with a keen interest in classic Australian muscle cars and watching motorsport.
