Outdated technology can slow any business down. We replaced Athletics West’s old laptops, especially those running Windows 10, which was nearing end of life. These new devices are faster, more reliable, and come with enhanced security features – keeping Athletics West ahead of the curve. 

Modernisation: Looking to the Future 

To enhance event streaming capabilities, we recommend upgrading their fibre connection to 250/250 Mbps, which will support the operation of additional cameras during live events. Qbit IT Solutions has provided Athletics West with a quotation for fibre internet, bringing more essential services under their trusted IT provider. Additionally, we have proposed the implementation of a modern 3CX phone system to improve communication both within the organisation and with the broader community. 

Celebrating a first year partnership 

After a year in which Qbit resolved most of Athletics West’s IT issues, it was time to share some appreciation. Fabio and Kane arrived bearing a basket filled with Christmas cheer. The basket benefited more than Athletics West, the wine and jam supported the Drive 4 MND fundraiser, while the Christmas cake contributed to the Lions fundraiser. This goes to show that if you look for them, win-win outcomes are always possible.
