Due to the nature of their industry, they require as minimal downtime as possible as well as Terabytes of efficient storage, so Qbit designed a system that had fail-over servers using VMware and Dell hardware. The system also had standby servers using Veeam, should the main host fail the standby host could take over.
The system was also designed to take advantage of Qbit’s DataKeeper for offsite backups.
The system was delivered accurately adhering to the deadline and within budget, and it was even installed over Christmas, greatly reducing the downtime experienced by the customer.
