A new client with a remote office engaged Qbit for IT Support a few months back. One of the issues they had was the lack of a decent internet connection at their production site 100km out of Broome. They were unable to share screens or partake in video conferencing. All the things that we take for granted sitting in an office in Perth.
They were also having lots of intermittent problems that were hard for us to fix remotely because of the bad internet. Qbit suggested that we deploy an SD-Wan and a Starlink. The SD-Wan allowed us instant failover to NBN Satellite and the Starlink gave us the speed they so desperately needed most of the time.

Teams calls are clear and minimal drops out (which is a first). Broome office has had all its redundant cabling & connections removed and tidied up, Bruce said there was just so much old stuff in there which was crazy. Broome Wi-Fi and phones are all up and running as well. Overall, it was an extremely successful trip, one that is very much appreciated by myself and management here in Perth as well as the teams in Broome & Ungani.”
